Refund Policy

1. The Basics

BuyBLK is a marketplace. Refund eligibility can depend on the Seller and the product type. This policy sets minimum standards for refunds and returns on the Platform.

2. Order Cancellations

• Before shipment / before pickup-ready: You may request cancellation within [X hours] of placing an order, unless the Seller has already started processing or the item is made-to-order.
• After shipment / after pickup-ready: Cancellation is not guaranteed. You may need to follow the return process.

3. Returns (Non-Perishable Physical Items)

Eligible items may be returned within [14] days of delivery, provided they are:

• unused, in original condition, and in original packaging (if applicable)
• not excluded below

Return shipping:

• If the item is defective, incorrect, or damaged in transit, the Seller (or BuyBLK, if stated) covers return shipping.
• Otherwise, the buyer may be responsible for return shipping.

4. Non-Returnable Items (Common Exclusions)

Unless required by law, we do not accept returns for:

• perishable goods (including many food items)
• custom or made-to-order items
• personal care items (opened/used)
• digital products or downloads
• gift cards

5. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Report issues within 48 hours of delivery (or pickup). Provide photos and packaging images when possible. If approved, we may offer:

• replacement
• partial refund
• full refund

6. Customer Pickup Rules

• Pickup must occur within [48–72 hours] of the pickup-ready notification.
• If not picked up in time, the order may be canceled and subject to a restocking fee of [X%] (unless prohibited by law).

7. Refund Method and Timing

• Card/Stripe payments: refunds return to the original payment method.
• Cash App / Zelle (if offered): refunds are issued back to the same handle/account used to pay, or via platform credit if you agree.
• Timing: Refunds are typically processed within [5–10 business days] after approval. Some providers may take longer. Cash App notes some refunds may be instant or take 1–3 business days depending on funding source.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you file a chargeback while a refund request is being reviewed, we may pause the refund process until the dispute is resolved.

9. Seller-Specific Policies

Sellers may offer more generous return windows. Seller terms must be clearly disclosed on listings or at checkout.
